Att. Ayşegül Akbal is the founding partner of Akbal Law Firm.

Akbal Law Firm provides legal assistance and representation to Turkish and foreign clients in civil law, labor law, commercial law, execution and bankruptcy law, intellectual and industrial property rights law, and real estate law. Akbal Law Firm also specializes in administrative, tax, and customs disputes.

Att. Ayşegül Akbal commenced her legal career at one of the Turkish Finance Company’s Headquarters in 2000 in the legal department. During her six and a half years of experience as in-house counsel she worked on tax disputes, administrative disputes, and all transactions necessary for board meetings, and general assembly meetings, supervised outside counsel in non-performing loan litigations

Att. Ayşegül Akbal joined Herguner Bilgen Ozeke Attorney Partnership’s dispute resolution and corporate department as senior lawyer in 2006. At Hergüner, Att. Ayşegül Akbal handled hundreds of cases as either lead associate or as a member of a team litigators. She mainly represented Turkish and multinational companies in commercial and tax disputes and advised them on their daily business corporate matters. She also published several articles on topics ranging from commercial law to tax law.

Att. Ayşegül Akbal founded Akbal Law Office in 2016.

Att. Ayşegül Akbal provides results-oriented strategies to Turkish and foreign companies and individuals for all matters arising from commercial and private law. In addition, she is experienced in taxes, customs, labor law, real estate, intellectual and industrial property rights, criminal lawsuits, the collection of receivables, restructuring of companies, share purchases, mergers, compliance, data protection, bankruptcy, concordatum, and arbitration.
